But the most exciting, and my favourite part, is the back! Instead of the regular back band with powernet I just took out all the fabric and used strap elastic instead! So it’s strappy and open!

I used 5/8″ strap elastic for the top and bottom of the band connecting to the hook and eye in the back, and used 1/2″ elastic to make these little triangle strap attachments in the back.

Loving this bra back!- It took a little bit of fiddling and pinning to my dress form to get them at the right angle- but it was worth it! I feel like I have such a unique bra with my own design!

I can’t wait to wear this in the summer with a backless top, or something that is sheer to show through!

Yay! another bra for myself – now I just need to make the matching panties for this one!

How clever! She made this with black foam covered with black stretch satin.

It’s a minimizer bra, but as she said- the measurements don’t lie! Fantastic bra- and great use of irony!

Karin has been a super busy bee and also made this gorgeous Spring Bra.

Such a gorgeous lace and a really good job balancing it between the cups!

Next we have two gorgeous competition suits from Kerri of Lady K’s Wardrobe Unlocked

She made them both from 1/3 m of silver shiny stretch fabric. This top is made with covered foam cups with a front closing clip, pair with a cute bikini style bottom.

This next set pairs together a bling trimmed bikini top and a ‘tanga’ style bottom- definitely competition worthy! Don’t get too close to the pool in this suit! – best to stay on the lounge chair!

She made this lovely lilac bra from the Pin-Up Girls Classic Pattern with lilac duoplex and lilac findings with a gorgeous lace butterfly front!

This is one of her first bras and she is still perfecting her fit!! Fantastic job!

She made the bra from an Anne St. Clair‘s Bra Elite pattern with a hot pink nylon tricot base and is covered with a black stretch lace.

She made the pantie from an out-of-print Ann Person pattern #2051, View H, French bikini, using the same pink tricot and a black and gold metallic lace with a scalloped border along the top and a black cotton knit for the gusset lining for comfort.

She made the half slip from another OOP pattern, Simplicity 8750, View 2, using the same lace as on the bikini, but reversed so the scalloped border is at the bottom of the slip!

This time he sent a pic with the bra modelled his lovely wife- What a great fit on that Shelley Bra! and gorgeous use of lace!

The panties, from a heavily modified Betty Ohlulu pattern, are SO CUTE

He made this black and yellow bra by hand with pre-formed foam cups and plastic wires.

Next is this lovely bra from Deb

Deb made this foam cup bra with pre-formed foam cups, covered in a very stretchy, draped beige knit.

She made it for her sister – a 5 years past breast cancer survivor, who likes a pre-formed foam cup best to hide the scaring from her surgery.

Amazing!! and it looks so practical too- this is what I should be making myself lol

Last but not least, we have this colour-blocked beauty from Jodi, of Threads by Jodi

This is the first sports bra that we’ve had in the challenge! Jodi made this bra from the Pin-Up Girls ‘Kerri No-bounce Sport bra‘ pattern

She made this out of black and blue duoplex with bamboo stretch knit for the bottom band and fold over elastic to finish the edges.

She also says that they are wonderful to work out in too-  if only I could find the same motivation to exercise… I’ll add that to my list of goals 😛
